LEADIA, LEAdership Development Initiative Africa, started as a forum for mobilizing African Evangelical Pastors and church leaders for the transformation of Africa . It was conceived by the alumni of Reformed Theological College in Kampala , Uganda . We were convinced that just as the strength of any structure is in its foundation, the future of Africa is in the hands of its spiritual leaders in the church and the market place.
We still believe that the church is the genesis of transformation that embraces the whole spectrum of life. It is therefore a proactive arm of society with supernatural and natural resources to combat all human encumbrances in order for them to meet their needs.
Africa is faced with challenges of leadership, authentic Christian character and culture, holistic Biblical perspective and approach, institutional building, health, wealth creation, development and appropriation, information accessibility, just to mention a few. |
